The best way to get a good fence put up is to go on recommendations. If you have seen one in your area that looks good and sturdy ask the owners who erected it. For a normal lap board fence I would guess at around 1000 but it is a buyers market with the recession so shop around and be prepared to haggle. I cannot hazard a guess on the paving and grass as I have no idea of the area but most good workmen will charge 120/150 per day per man + materials. Make sure the grass is laid by an expert or it will not take and you will end up paying for it to be redone. You do have a choice of turf or seed. Seed is a lot cheaper if you get someone to prepare the ground but you will then have to look after it (weed etc.) until it has grown.
