It will depend on the type of fencing/paving and the area of grass.
The best way to get a good fence put up is to go on recommendations. If you have seen one in your area that looks good and sturdy ask the owners who erected it.
For a normal lap board fence I would guess at around 1000 but it is a buyers market with the recession so shop around and be prepared to haggle.
I cannot hazard a guess on the paving and grass as I have no idea of the area but most good workmen will charge 120/150 per day per man + materials.
Make sure the grass is laid by an expert or it will not take and you will end up paying for it to be redone. You do have a choice of turf or seed. Seed is a lot cheaper if you get someone to prepare the ground but you will then have to look after it (weed etc.) until it has grown.

Oh, you can have so much fun with this! Forget about a landscaper. Play about in antique shops and garden centres. Join local horticultural societies. Fancy a koi pond. Think about "period" gardens, or mix some easy to grow veg with just as easy flowers. How lucky you are to have any space to play in at all!

Depends if your in a city or countryside,or in a wealthy or poor area.
The time to get it done is in very cold weather in mid winter (right now) the gardeners are short of work and you will pay half of what you'd pay when they are busy in spring onwards.Get prices ASAP for cheap quote as the cold winter has meant not enough business for them.
Also Polish builders will do it for you,as you don't really need a garden company.Get 3 quotes

well i own my own landscaping business and none of the answers so far are no where near the cost. a 10m2 patio (which is tiny) to be built to a high standard in say Indian sandstone paving would cost about £1000. a fence that's 35m would be about £1500 for feather edge. and a lawn would be about £500. so £3000 would be a good bench mark but it could easily be £4000.
get it done cheap if you want it to look nice for a few months. but the prices i put to you is a rough guess seeing as i have not seen your garden, but i do quotes all the time. good luck just make sure you get three or four quotes.
