How should I get his tail to grow thicker?

I have the Canadian equine with the long, thick, issuing locks as good as the short, thin, raspy tail. as we can suppose which looks unequivocally peculiar as good as out of proportion. we am regulating M-T-G upon him right right away as good as I’ve seen the small bit of alleviation so distant (It’s usually been the couple of weeks so I’m happy with how good that’s working).
He lives out in the green hills with lots of trees, so hes all the time removing his tail held in trees. we suspicion about regulating the tail bag (with the frills upon the end, given there’s the lot of bugs where I’m from) though when we took him in to the coop though trees as good as put which upon him it didn’t spin out well, each time he swished his tail he didn’t similar to the receptive to advice of the tail bag, so he proposed galloping around crazily as good as kicking. (He was excellent with the receptive to advice of the tail bag when we changed it around nearby his face as good as shoulder, etc, though once it was out of his steer as good as we wasn’t around he wasn’t happy with it.)

So should we only keep regulating the M-T-G as good as not be concerned about the tail bag, or do we have any alternative tricks? would pleat the end of his tail assistance the little? we only wish him to demeanour the small some-more even from behind to front :)

Thanks!

You can get a more fabric like tail bag that wont make noise and keep his tail braided and use lots of conditioner and detangler, i recommend mane and tail, so you dont pull hair out when brushing, it will also make it look not as raspy, and yes definatly keep using the M-T-G! and yes take about 2 inches off the bottom and you will see a huge improvement!

I use to have arabs many many years ago… all my horses had thick tails that dragged on the ground –

    wash – and condition

    rub in baby oil

divide into 3 clumps of hair and braid (start the braid below the end of the dock of tail) fold up and wrap with vet wrap..

we put a few strands of binder twine (from hay bales) through the vet wrap to act as a fake tail.. it made no noise..

I dont even know what MTG is or a tail bag.. clearly not things we had back in those days.. but my horses all had awesome tails (you have to change it every month)

M-T-G works real well also if he cut the split ends onve in a while it will grow faster ( kinda like our hair)
