Would your child’s room feel different if it had slightly blue tinted lighting? What about if you increased the brightness of the bulbs? How would the room feel if you added 3-4 light fixtures and used those for light instead of the ceiling light?

3. Move around the furniture.
Moving the furniture around is another way you can completely change the vibe of the room. And it doesn’t cost a penny!
Try placing the bed in a difference corner. Try moving the drawers to the other wall. Try moving where the toys are to a different part of the room.
If you have heavy furniture, such as a full over full bunk bed, you might need to take off the mattress and remove anything stored in the furniture before you can move it.
