I am renting a townhouse in Nebraska, is the owner of the house just allowed to walk in without notice?

I live in a townhouse as well as a next doorway neighbour told me he was in my residence to reinstate a filter for a heater. Is he only authorised to do this? And a single time we called for a brand new garage doorway opener as well as we was left for a whilst afterwards pulled in my garage as well as a upkeep man was in my house?
ARE THEY ALLOWED TO DO THIS!!!
Is their any websites about this.
I am not happy as well as wish to call someone about it?

    No.

He is required to give you ‘adequate notice’ prior to entering the property, unless it’s an emergency.

Any lease clause that purports to give him the right to enter without notice is "contrary to public policy", and unenforceable.

You might remind him that Nebraska has a "Castle Doctrine" law, and that if someone unexpectedly enters your home without warning or notice when you happen to be there, you pretty much have the right to "shoot first and ask questions later."

Did you read your contract? Probably states they can do that.

They are supposed to call you or write tell you when they will come over to do repairs. Date and time. You have the option to be in. If you are not and they gave you reasonable notice, they can use the master key to enter and repair any fixed defects connected or part of the rental. Because it is a town house you have to look at the customary behaviors own there, if other people do it and its in the practice. many town people behave this way because there know each others stories and no thievery You need to tell him to give you notice when he will come and not just walk in.
You should be happy they respond so quick after a call!
