Do you determine which it competence be improved for a US If you stop profitable all a residence & senators early retirement for life? What about all a alternative benefits they get such as their own illness care? What if they had to find jobs after their 4 years of "service" do not ya consider it competence shift a approach supervision handles amicable security, taxes as well as all their "Bullshite" spending. Why should you compensate for these people for a rest of their lives? Is it any consternation because they have mislaid hold with what a operative electorate have been unequivocally starting through? How do you get them off a taxation payers teat? For once as well as For All?
Is it right which after a single tenure they get these benefits for life?Maybe they should get hold up but parole?

it’s way past time for taxpayers to stop supporting career politicians. they should have to live on comparable wages as the "average" citizen, pay for their health care benefits, and pay into SS and their retirement funds just like we have to do. the house and senators were not intended to be full time careers. the positions were meant to be filled on a limited, part time basis.

Now that’s the best thing I have heard all day, I second that. No pay raises unless we the people authorize it period.

Ye it seems like a good idea to me, and they shouldn’t get an automatic raise each year either, it should be performance based ! The hardest they ever work is to get reelected because they know they can’t survive under the laws they passed for the rest of us !

I think we would see more benefit from enacting term limits, thus ensuring that none of them will be able to make a career of politics and hopefully put an end to them catering to special interests. That costs us more in the long run than paying for their health care and retirement.

Sounds good to me! Where do we start!?

we need to take all of them and cryo-freeze them until science find a cure for them! Then cut the funding on the research!

I think they should pay SS like everyone else. If they wanted to do something for America that would be nice. I think maybe that is why there are so many running for office in the first place. They don’t listen to what the people want at all. It seems they are in it for the profit it brings. They will still draw the SS if they have paid into it before or after they go out of office. Reagan did. Thing is they vote their own pay and i presume perks, go figure.

I like the way you think. How can we implement your ideas?
