The house I moved into is already wired with a security system, do I have to go through ADT to use it?

I changed in to the brand new home which has an existent confidence system. It was connected by ADT, though given it’s already commissioned we was wondering if we have to make use of them to guard my confidence complement or can we go with someone else but carrying to reinstate my equipment?

Suggestions:


1. Most of those systems can be reprogrammed by the technician that comes out to inspect the system and replace any non-working components. For instance, when I bought my present home it had security system that was serviced by AT&T. We selected another provider and they took care of everything. No problems.

2. Yes, the system can be monitored by the provider that you choose. There will need to be some programming changes made to the control panel.
